How to Register With Us
We are delighted that you are considering Albyn Medical practice for your healthcare needs.
The practice provides National Health medical services to patients in the Aberdeen area. The practice has approximately 10,500 patients and covers the city of Aberdeen. The surgery is situated in the centre of the city and easily accessible by public transport from most parts.
Please contact the practice by telephoning 01224 586829 and ask for information on how to register.
Visit the practice between 11.00 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. to complete registration forms.
We need to ensure all new patients reside within the practice boundaries. Please click on the Practice Catchment Area tab or ask one of our receptionists prior to registration if you are uncertain.
Patients may ask to see any of the doctors at the surgery but home visits are made on a zoned basis. If a patient moves outwith the practice boundary they will be asked to register with another practice. Details of the area covered by Albyn Medical practice can be found under the "New Patients" header.
All new patient applications must be accompanied by two forms of identification (one confirming your home address and the other photographic evidence).
If you are from overseas it is important that we establish your residency status within Scotland and you will be asked to produce documentation to support your application (passport, EHIC, Visa, etc.).
Please make sure that the practice has your correct name, address and a contact telephone number at all times.
