Face Coverings

If you have an appointment at the surgery, we ask that you wear a face covering i.e. a scarf or a cloth to protect yourselves, other patients and staff. Please only remove your Face Covering if directed to do so by the GP or Nurse. The clinician seeing you will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment. Some members of our team are able to keep to 2 metres distance from others and therefore do not need to wear masks out with consultations unless keeping this distance is not possible.

EXEMPTION CARDS

As of July 10th 2020 Scottish Government guidance is that it is mandatory to wear face coverings on Public Transport and in shops.

WE DO NOT PROVIDE LETTERS TO ADVISE THAT PATIENTS DO NOT HAVE TO WEAR MASKS.

Some people cannot wear masks because of a disability or severe distress - should you be in this position, you can access a DIY card to quickly explain that you have a legal reasonable excuse.
